Batec have just announced a limited edition of their most powerful handbike ever. The Batec Scrambler, inspired by bikes of the 1960s, has a 1300W motor coupled with an exclusive 696 WH battery, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 28 km/h.
The additional torque provided by this engine will enable it to more easily climb hills, giving you the speed of the Batec Rapid combined with the hill-climbing of the Batec Electric.
Built-in suspension to minimise damage
Equipped with a 19” ultra-wide wheel, the stand frame has built-in suspension, allowing it to hinge upwards whenever it encounters an obstacle. This helps prevent damage to the stand and the coupling. Other features include a 1400 Lumen double front light and an all-in-one LCD screen. To increase manoeuvrability, the Scrambler also comes with a reverse gear.
It is available in versions for both quadriplegics and hemiplegics for a cost of £6595
So, the Scrambler looks to be the best Batec ever, combining the speed of the Rapid with the torque of the Electric and just for good measure, throwing the reverse gear of the Mini. What’s not to like about it?
Act quick if you want one
But, there is some bad news. It is only available in limited quantities, although Cyclone have managed to reserve one third of the total world supply solely for the UK. Even though it has only been available for a few days, these are selling fast.
So, if you are interested get in touch now, we are happy to consider a trade-in of your old Batec (subject to condition).
